1. Information We Collect

We collect information strictly to fulfill our mission and comply with legal requirements:

• Personal Details: Name, email, phone number, and address when you register or donate.
• Donation & Tax Data: Payment details and PAN Card numbers (required under Indian law for 80G tax receipts). Note: We do not store your credit card or bank account details on our servers.

2. How We Use & Protect Your Data

Your information is used strictly for NGO-related activities, such as processing donations, issuing tax receipts, and sending program updates. We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information. All online transactions are processed through encrypted, trusted third-party payment gateways.

3. General No-Refund Policy

As a registered NGO, all donations made to DFLWF are considered voluntary and final. We do not offer refunds or cancellations for donations once they have been successfully processed, as these funds are immediately allocated to empowering underprivileged communities.

4. Exceptional Circumstances

We will only consider a refund request in the event of an established technical or processing error, such as:

• Duplicate Transactions: Your account was accidentally charged more than once for the same donation due to a gateway error.
• Unauthorized Transactions: A donation was made fraudulently using your card without your consent (subject to investigation).

5. Tax Exemption Receipts (80G)

If a tax exemption receipt has already been issued for the donation in question, the donation cannot be refunded under any circumstances, as the funds have already been legally logged with the Income Tax Department of India under PAN: AAHCD8274H.
